Bhaskara Rao, Indian politician and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, died on April 22, 2026, at the age of 90. He served as the 11th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh for a brief period in 1984 and later was an MP from 1998 to 1999.
Born on June 23, 1935, in Guntur, Madras Presidency, British India, he entered the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1978 and served as a minister in Chenna Reddy’s cabinet.
