Brian Edgerly, an American Olympic baseball player who competed at the 1964 Summer Olympics, died on April 22, 2026, at age 82.

Born in 1943, he played baseball internationally with Team USA and was an outfielder. At Colgate University, he majored in philosophy and religion and captained the soccer, ice hockey, and baseball teams.

In 1964, he was a third-team baseball All-American, led the nation in batting average with a .449 mark, played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and was named a league all-star.
