Mostafa Kamal, a Bangladeshi volleyball and football player and coach, died on February 1, 2026.

He was 88. Born in Companiganj Upazila of Noakhali District in Bengal Province, British India, he competed in the 400, 800 and 1500 metres in athletics while studying at Bamni High School.

Kamal began his volleyball career after enrolling at Jagannath College in 1959. In 1961, he was scouted by Khondoker Abul Hasan and played for the Azad SC volleyball team until 1965, winning the Dhaka First Division Volleyball League in 1963. He was also a professional sports administrator.

Mostafa Kamal (Bengali: মোস্তফা কামাল; 1937 or 1938 – 1 February 2026) was a Bangladeshi professional volleyball player, footballer, coach and sports administrator.
