Born on August 3, 1984, in Diitabiki, he was a Surinamese–Dutch musician known for his work in baithak gana and was described as one of the leading interpreters of the style of his generation. He came from a musical family: his father Angad Bholasing, mother Rosie Bholasing-Jiboth and aunt Motimala Bholasing all made their names in baithak-gana music.
Bholasing played the dhool and served as the lead singer of Kishen & Friends, performing in both the Netherlands and Suriname at events ranging from Holi-Phagwa celebrations to sporting occasions organized by the Surinamese Wrestling Federation.
