He also claimed eight victories in Dutch nature-ice classics, including four wins in the Oldambtrit, two in the Hollands Venetiëtocht, one in the Veluwemeertocht and one in the Noordwesthoekrit.
Kruithof also earned the Elfstedenkruisje four times.
