Josh Mauro, an English-born American football player who played for the Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants and Jacksonville Jaguars, died on April 23, 2026, at age 35.
Born in St Albans, England, on February 17, 1991, he moved to Texas at age 3. Mauro played college football at Stanford and later served as a defensive end in the NFL.
In high school, he was named to the Dallas Morning News first-team all-area and the Associated Press all-state team, and he was listed as the nation’s 31st-best prospect weakside defensive end by Rivals.com.
