Jana Dubovcová, a Slovak lawyer and politician who served as minister of justice in 2023, died on May 7, 2026, at the age of 73.
Born Jana Verčíková in Žilina on June 22, 1952, she studied law at Comenius University, graduating in 1977. She served as a judge and later as a deputy member of the National Council from 2010 to 2012.
From May to October 2023, she was the Minister of Justice.
