Ioan Isaiu, a Romanian actor, died on May 9, 2026, of a heart attack.
Born in Hunedoara on August 25, 1969, he trained at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj, where he graduated from the Theater Department of the Faculty of Philology in 1995. After completing his studies, he joined the Lucian Blaga National Theater in Cluj and worked there from 1995 to 2001.
Isaiu’s career in stage, film and television spanned more than three decades, beginning in 1995 and ending with his death in Bucharest at the age of 56.
