Garry Leo, an Australian rugby league footballer who played for the Balmain Tigers, died on March 19, 2026, aged 81.
Born in 1944 or 1945, he played in the 1960s and 1970s and was a prop-forward for Balmain. Leo attended Fort Street Boys High School at Petersham and was selected in the Combined High Schools rugby union team as a centre.
He made his Balmain first-grade debut in 1963 and stayed with the club until the end of the 1974 season. In a career spanning eleven seasons, he played in more than 150 games for the Tigers and later became club captain.
