Enayatollah Atashi, an Iranian basketball coach and commentator, died on April 28, 2026, at the age of 81.
He coached the Iranian national basketball team and worked as a basketball commentator for IRIB Varzesh and IRIB TV3, two Iranian television channels. Atashi was born on August 6, 1946, in Jahrom.
He was also the father of Mehrad Atashi, an Iranian professional basketball player.
