Drusilla Beyfus, the English writer and journalist best known for her books on modern modes and manners, died on February 26, 2026, aged 98.
Born in Hampstead, London, on March 1, 1927, she was educated at a private boarding school and later attended finishing school. She met the journalist, war historian and theatre critic Milton Shulman in 1951, and after a long courtship they married at Caxton Hall in Westminster on June 6, 1956.
The couple had three children and lived in Belgravia in Greater London.
