Björgvin Halldórsson, an Icelandic musician and singer, died on April 9, 2026, at the age of 74.

Born Björgvin Helgi Halldórsson in Hafnarfjörður on April 16, 1951, he was an Icelandic pop singer who represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 1995 with the song “Núna,” which placed 15th with 31 points. He performed with Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir and others, released several solo albums, and appeared in several television shows.
