Birgitta Andersson, the Swedish actress and comedian, died on February 22, 2026, at the age of 92.
Born Ulla Birgitta Helena Andersson in Mariestad on April 20, 1933, she worked in film, television and stage performances from 1954 to 2010. She made her breakthrough in variety shows with Povel Ramel and Karl Gerhard and later became part of the group around Hasse & Tage, appearing in productions including Gula Hund, Docking the Boat, Spader, Madame!, The Apple War, Ägget är löst, The Adventures of Picasso and Häxan Surtant.
In 1967, she portrayed Teskedsgumman in the Swedish advent calendar of the same name.
