Beka Gotsiridze, a Georgian footballer who played as a forward, died on February 9, 2026.
He was born in Tbilisi, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union, on February 21, 1988. Gotsiridze began his career at FC Zestaponi in Georgia’s Umaglesi Liga before transferring to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk on a €1 million deal in January 2009.
In June 2009, he was involved in a car accident while driving to Tbilisi from a nearby village, and his spleen had to be removed due to his injuries.
