Phil Krueger, an American racing driver, died on February 9, 2026.
Phillip Eugene Krueger competed in the CART Indy car series over nine seasons from 1981 to 1986, in 1988 and 1989, and again in 1991, making 23 career starts. He competed in the 1986 and 1988 Indianapolis 500s and finished in the top ten three times, with a best result of fifth at the 1988 Michigan 500.
Krueger also won the Clint Brawner Mechanical Excellence Award in 1988.
