Eldon Lautermilch, a Canadian politician, died on February 9, 2026, at age 76.
He was a Saskatchewan New Democratic Party member of the Legislative Assembly of Saskatchewan for Prince Albert Northcote. Born in Lafleche, Saskatchewan, on September 9, 1949, he was first elected in 1986 and re-elected in 1991, 1995, 1999 and 2003.
Appointed to cabinet in 1992, he held portfolios including Energy and Mines, Rural Development, Economic and Co-operative Development, Intergovernmental Affairs, Aboriginal Affairs, Forestry, Highways and Transportation, and Government House Leader.
