Vyacheslav Klepikov Ukrainian nuclear physicist dead at age 76

Vyacheslav Klepikov, a Ukrainian nuclear physicist, died on March 1, 2026, in Kharkiv, Ukraine, at the age of 76.

He was also a professor and a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences. Born in Kharkiv on July 13, 1949, Klepikov graduated from Kharkiv State University in 1972 with a degree in physics and technology.

He worked at the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, now the National Scientific Center, and later served as an advisor to the director of the Technical Center for Electrophysical Processing and the Institute of Electrophysics and Radiation Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine until 2021.

Vyacheslav Fedorovych Klepikov (Ukrainian: В’ячеслав Федорович Клепіков; 13 July 1949 – 1 March 2026) was a Ukrainian nuclear physicist. He was also a professor, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences.
