Vijay Mohan Crishna, an Indian actor, died on March 4, 2026.
Crishna, who was from Shimla, began his acting career on a Delhi stage in the 1960s and moved to the Mumbai theatre scene by 1971. He appeared in Pearl Padamsee’s Orphans and later starred in Alyque Padamsee’s Macbeth in the title role, as well as directing Shaw’s Saint Joan.
He was also known for his long-running performance in Mahesh Dattani’s Dance Like a Man. Outside the stage, Crishna served Godrej Enterprise Group for 45 years until 2021 and was married to Smita Crishna-Godrej, with whom he had two daughters.
