
Richard Menschel, an American investment banker and senior director of Goldman Sachs, died on March 4, 2026, at age 92.
He was also an art collector and philanthropist. Through the Charina Endowment Fund and the Charina Foundation, he supported art museums, schools and health charities.
Menschel won the 2015 Carnegie Medal of Philanthropy.
