Jacky Cupit, an American professional golfer who played on both the PGA Tour and the Senior PGA Tour, died on March 4, 2026, at age 88.
Born Jacky Douglas Cupit on February 1, 1938, in Longview, Texas, he was raised there and attended the University of Houston. As a member of the Cougars golf team, he earned All-American honors in 1959 and 1960.
His older brother, Buster Cupit, was also a professional golfer who played mainly in Texas and Oklahoma.
