Tres Chicas, the American country musician and alternative country group from Raleigh, North Carolina, died on February 6, 2026.
The group formed in 1999 after Lynn Blakey, Caitlin Cary and Tonya Lamm began singing together, following meetings that had brought the three musicians into the same circle in North Carolina. Their first performance was an impromptu singalong at an Alejandro Escovedo show in a Raleigh bar, and the bar owner later gave them their name.
Tres Chicas remained associated with the alternative country genre and the Raleigh music scene.
