François Blamont, a French businessman, died on February 6, 2026, in Paris at the age of 81.
Born in Mazamet on October 27, 1944, he held several high-level roles in both the public and private sectors, including serving as director general of NANE Éditions. He was the son of lawyer Émile Katz and the brother of astrophysicist Jacques Blamont.
