Timo Kautonen, a Finnish footballer, died on May 6, 2026, at the age of 81.
He played 42 matches for the Finland national football team from 1964 to 1976 and spent more than 20 seasons with Lahti-based clubs, בעיקר with Reipas Lahti. Kautonen was also associated with Kuusysi and was inducted into the Finnish Football Hall of Fame in 2005.
His sons, Turo Kautonen and Tommi Kautonen, were also professional footballers; Tommi later became a manager.
