Sunil Thapa, a Nepalese actor, died on February 7, 2026, in Kathmandu, Nepal, at the age of 68.
He appeared in Nepali, Bollywood and Bhojpuri films, beginning his career with the Bollywood film Ek Duuje Ke Liye. Thapa was known for villainous and character roles in Nepali cinema, including his role as Rate Kaila in Chino (1989).
He also appeared in Mary Kom (2014) as boxing coach Narjit Singh and in the web series The Family Man 3.
