Stephen Adamini, an American politician and attorney who served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2001 to 2006, died on April 29, 2026, at age 81.
A Democrat, he represented a portion of the Upper Peninsula during his tenure in the House. Adamini practiced law since 1970 and was the senior member of the Marquette firm Kendricks, Bordeau, Adamini, Chilman & Greenlee, P.C.
He also served on the Michigan Transportation Commission from 1987 to 1991 and on the Michigan Law Revision Commission while in the Legislature. In 2007, Governor Jennifer Granholm appointed him to the Northern Michigan University Board of Trustees.
