Selimir Milošević dead at age 86, public figure

Selimir Milošević, a Serbian football player and manager, died on May 13, 2026, at the age of 86.

Known as “Sele,” he played primarily for Red Star Belgrade during the 1960s and also played abroad for the Oakland Clippers and Red Star FC as a centre-forward. He made his debut in the latter half of the 1957–58 Yugoslav First League and was part of Red Star’s championship squads in 1958–59, 1959–60 and 1963–64.

Milošević later played in France for Red Star FC in the 1969–70 season, finishing as the club’s top scorer with 13 goals in 26 matches, before brief spells with Arago and Radnički Kragujevac. He also managed Pelita Jaya.
