Rose Kingdon, a Canadian broadcaster with The Canadian Press, died on March 26, 2026.
Born in 1961, she was from Toronto and studied in the Radio Broadcasting program at Humber College, graduating in 1981. She began working at The Canadian Press in June 1985 as a reporter and editor and spent 48 years with the organization.
Her roles included director at Broadcast News, as well as audio editor, newscaster and senior editor. Before joining The Canadian Press, she held radio jobs at CKLA in Guelph and at CKEY in Toronto. She had two children, Sean and Ailish.
