A. Rajendran, an Indian actor and stage director, died on March 26, 2026.
He was 71 and died in the early hours of that day in Kollam, Kerala. Rajendran worked from 1981 to 2026 and was known for Malayalam cinema, theatre and television. Born in Kerala in 1955, he graduated from the National School of Drama and earned a post-graduate degree from the Film and Television Institute of India. He was the brother-in-law of actor and Kollam MLA Mukesh. He is survived by his wife, Sandhya, and their son, Divyadarshan, also an actor.
