Rosa Salikhova, a Russian volleyball player and Olympic champion, died on March 26, 2026.

Born on September 24, 1944, in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Oblast, in the Russian SFSR, Soviet Union, she played for the Soviet Union and was part of the women’s national team that won the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games and the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. She was 81.

Rosa Galyamovna Salikhova (Russian: Роза Галямовна Салихова, Tatar: Роза Галләм кызы Салихова; 24 September 1944 – 26 March 2026) was a volleyball player for the Soviet Union.
