Pierre Collin, the French painter, engraver, illustrator and sculptor, died on September 15, 2026, at the age of 69.
Born in Paris on September 27, 1956, he studied at the Beaux-Arts de Paris from 1975 to 1980 and at the Casa de Velázquez from 1980 to 1982. Collin began exhibiting his work in 1983, with shows in Paris, Washington, D.C.
and Madrid. He later moved to Presqu’île de Conleau in 1999 with his wife, Corinne Véret, and continued his work in Vannes, where he died.
