He had served as the university’s rector from 2022 until his death and previously held senior posts including deputy rector for academic affairs and head of the institution’s higher education database. Born on October 8, 1968, in Biak, Papua, he studied economics at Cenderawasih University, earned a master’s degree in agriculture at the University of Göttingen, and later completed a doctorate in management at Brawijaya University.
Before becoming rector, he taught management sciences at Cenderawasih University and was promoted to chief lector after completing his doctorate.
