Willie Norris Brown was born on July 10, 1961, in Laurens, South Carolina, and attended Laurens District 55 High School. He went on to play college football for the Georgia Bulldogs before being selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the eighth round of the 1983 NFL draft.
Brown appeared in the first two games of the 1983 season and did not play again in the NFL after that. He also played in the United States Football League.
