
Neil Pappalardo, an American technology entrepreneur and founder of Meditech, died on February 1, 2026.
He co-founded the Massachusetts-based hospital information systems software company in 1969, when it was known as Medical Information Technology Inc. Pappalardo was also one of the original co-developers of the MUMPS programming language and system at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Antonino Neil Pappalardo (1942 or 1943 – January 27, 2026) was an American technology businessman and the founder of Meditech, a supplier of information system software for hospitals headquartered in Massachusetts.
