Mujahid, an American Thoroughbred racehorse and sire, died on March 3, 2026.
An American-bred, British-trained colt bred and owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum, he was trained throughout his racing career in England by John Dunlop. In 1998, as a two-year-old, Mujahid won three of his four races and earned an upset victory in the Dewhurst Stakes, after which he was rated the best of his generation in Europe.
He later finished third in the 2000 Guineas in 1999 and won no further races. After retirement, he became a successful breeding stallion.
