Tim Gerresheim, the German fencer and Olympic bronze medalist, died on March 3, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born in Berlin on February 24, 1939, he represented the United Team of Germany at the 1960 and 1964 Summer Olympics and West Germany at the 1968 Games. Gerresheim won a bronze medal in the team foil event at the 1960 Summer Olympics.
He died in Hamburg.
