Lyudmila Arinina, the Russian actress, died on March 14, 2026, at the age of 99.

Born Lyudmila Mikhailovna Arinina on November 8, 1926, in Sinodskoye Village, Saratov Oblast, she graduated from the acting department of GITIS in 1948 and began her screen career in 1967 with Four Pages of One Young Life. Over an acting career that lasted until 2026, she appeared in more than a hundred film roles, including in Pyotr Fomenko’s For the Rest of His Life, An Almost Funny Story and Trips on an Old Car.

Her last screen appearance was in the television series Sklifosovsky in 2017. She was named an Honored Artist of the RSFSR in 1976.
