## Obituary
Jean-Claude Meyer, a French business banker and investment banker, died on June 12, 2026, at the age of 80. Born in Neuilly-sur-Seine on June 16, 1945, he studied at HEC Paris, Paris Dauphine University and Sciences Po before joining Rothschild & Cie, where he became a managing partner. He helped launch Banque Rothschild with David René de Rothschild and Édouard de Rothschild, and later advised on the creation of the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company in 2000.
