Born on September 22, 1960, in Chervonohrad, now Sheptytskyi, in Lviv Oblast, she trained at the Lviv Ivan Trush School of Applied Arts and later at the Lviv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts. Drul worked from 1987 at the Lviv Experimental Ceramic and Sculptural Factory and was a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine from 1993 and the International Academy of Ceramics from 2019.
