Derrick Lee Clark, an American football player who was a running back for the Denver Broncos, died on February 19, 2026, at age 54.
Born in Apopka, Florida, on May 4, 1971, he played college football for the Evangel Valor before moving on to professional stints with the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe and the Orlando Rage of the XFL. Clark signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent on May 4, 1994, and appeared in all 16 regular-season games, starting four at fullback.
He rushed for 168 yards on 56 carries and scored three touchdowns, and also caught nine passes for 47 yards. He later owned and coached the Daytona Beach Broncos.
