Can Kolukısa, a Turkish actor known for roles in Züğürt Ağa, King of the Doormen and Selamsız Bandosu, died on August 1, 2026, aged 92.
Born in Eskişehir on May 14, 1934, he studied theatre at the Sorbonne University Theatre Institute after graduating from Işık High School. Kolukısa began his stage career in 1953 at Istanbul University Youth Theatre and went on to work with Cep Tiyatrosu, Oda Tiyatrosu, Dormen Tiyatrosu, Sahne Z and Halk Oyuncuları.
He also served as artistic director of Gaziantep City Theatre in 1991 and 1992 and remained active in theatre, film and television over a long career.
