Bill Dempsey, an Australian rules footballer, died on March 15, 2026, aged 83.
Born in Birdum, Northern Territory, on March 17, 1942, he played for Darwin in the Northern Territory Football League and for West Perth in the Western Australian National Football League. He was inducted into the Australian Football, AFL Northern Territory and West Australian Football Halls of Fame.
