Born in Mexico City on July 24, 1965, he was also known as Cristóbal Jodorowsky and worked across several artistic fields, including writing, painting, dance and stage performance. He began his career in 1971 and became best known for playing Fenix in Alejandro Jodorowsky’s 1989 film Santa Sangre, a role that brought him a Saturn Award nomination for best actor.
He also appeared in the documentary Quantum Men, directed by Carlos Serrano Azcona. Jodorowsky died in Mexico City at the age of 57.
