Born on July 1, 1982, he joined Al-Nassr in 1996 through Mr. Abdulla Al-Howaishel.
Fifteen days later, he was recalled by trainer Yousef Khamis to Al-Nasr’s Under-17 squad, after initially playing as a midfielder before being moved to forward. In his first two seasons, he scored 74 goals for Al-Nassr’s Under-17 team. At 17, he was called to the Under-20 squad, and he played his first match at 18.
