Willy Ngoma, a Congolese military spokesman for the March 23 Movement, died on February 25, 2026.
Born in 1974, he served in several capacities within the movement, including commander and military spokesman. Ngoma said he was Congolese, though other sources described him as also holding Rwandan nationality.
He had been subject to United Nations Security Council sanctions since February 2024 under Resolution 2293 (2016), as reaffirmed by Resolution 2688 (2023).
