Vector Lovers, the British electronic music producer better known as Martin Wheeler, died on September 21, 2026, aged 70.
Born in London in 1956, he built a career in electronic music under the Vector Lovers name, releasing several singles, EPs and four albums. His work was associated with the intelligent dance music and electro genres, and was described by Soma Records as the product of a “computer nerd” and “80s-obsessed knob-twiddler.” Wheeler also issued music as Rosenbaum and Badly Born Droid, and in 2006 contributed production work to Tracey Thorn’s album Out of the Woods.
