Vangelis Petrakis, a Greek footballer who played as a goalkeeper, died on February 3, 2026.

Born on September 7, 1938, he began his career at Aris Ptolemaida before moving to Aris in 1957. With Aris, he won the Macedonia FCA Championship in 1959 and was part of the side that finished sixth in the Panhellenic Championship.

In 1962, he joined AEK, where he spent five years and won a league title in 1963 and two cups. He later played for OFI from 1967.

Vangelis Petrakis (Greek: Βαγγέλης Πετράκης; 7 September 1938 – 3 February 2026) was a Greek footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
