Ryszard Zembaczyński, a Polish politician and former mayor of Opole, died on May 7, 2026, at the age of 77.
He served as mayor of Opole from 2002 to 2014. Zembaczyński was also voivode of Opole Voivodeship from 1990 to 1998.
He was a member of Solidarity Electoral Action and Civic Platform.
