Reinhold Wosab, a German professional footballer, died on February 18, 2026.
Born on February 25, 1938, he spent ten seasons in the Bundesliga with Borussia Dortmund and VfL Bochum. In the 1965–66 Bundesliga season, he scored both goals in Borussia Dortmund’s away win at Bayern Munich in the first meeting between the two clubs.
He played four games and scored five goals against Bayern in total. In 1965, Wosab was also credited with a “ghost goal” against Karlsruher SC, when his shot hit the outside of the post and went through a hole in the net.
