Known in Chilean media as Don Choco and born Reinaldo del Carmen Sánchez Olivares in Viña del Mar on October 17, 1944, he built a career in business and football leadership. He served as president of Santiago Wanderers from 1992 to 2001 and later returned to the club’s presidency in August 2021, remaining in the post until his death.
