Pol Greisch, a Luxembourgish actor and writer, died on February 18, 2026, at the age of 95.
Born in Walferdange on April 8, 1930, he was also a dramatist. Greisch won the Servais Prize in 1993 for several plays, including Äddi Charel, Besuch, and E Stéck Streisel.
In 2002, he received the Batty Weber Prize for his entire literary work.
